Help Send Seattle Firefighters to CO Springs
The Seattle Firefighters Pipes and Drums band is going to Colorado Springs this September to honor the fallen this year. We are putting our own member of the SFD, Keith Johnson, on the wall and honoring all that we have lost around the country. We need help with funds for lodging and flights to get us there. 100% of the donations go to the band. We and the families affected greatly appreciate any help. We are a non-profit organization with a 501c tax id of 91-1674237.
Please share the link to others to get the word out. http://www.gofundme.com/SFFPD

Ten Years of Support from the Seattle Fire Chief
Band Members gathered at SFD Headquarters to present the Seattle Fire Chief, Greg Dean, with a token of our appreciation. This is our tenth year of existence with Chief Dean’s full support . This alliance has proven highly productive towards our shared mission of “Honoring the Fallen” and celebrating our Department’s successes. The framed Bass Drum “Head” will consume a sizeable amount of wall space, reminding Chief Dean how much we appreciate all he has done for us !
November 9, 2012 – Children’s Hospital Benefit at Benaroya Hall
Our Band was proud to participate in Mateo Messina’s annual benefit concert for Children’s Orthopedic Hospital Medical Center in Seattle. This wonderful experience allowed our Members to Play before a packed audience at Seattle’s prestigious Benaroya Hall, current Home of Seattle Symphony. Along with other performers, including NW Boy’s Choir, 1000 Foot Krutch, The Gothard Sisters, Mateo Messina, The Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Firefighters Pipes and Drums played scores customized for the show’s Irish theme “The Voice of Finnegan Farrell”.
